Highlights of the year

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of the year when we’re all considering what the Lord has done for us individually and as a group over 2016.

At BCC, we’re so grateful for the amazing year we’ve had and we’re very excited to see what God has prepared for us in 2017.

Our group has increased considerably over the year, with students and Christians from different countries joining us. We started the year by meeting in a couple’s home in Verwood every Friday. We had great moments of fellowship, bible studies, watching movies and playing numerous fun games. Due to our increase in number, we decided to move into a hall in the Centre of Bournemouth, where we currently meet.

Over the Summer we also had sister’s meetings, having the opportunity to fellowship, share with one another, have dinner together and study a Christian book called “The Comeback”, by Louie Giglio. It was a great program as we could also invite our friends who are not in church to join us and have a very special time.

In July, a three-day Youth camp was held in Winchester and many Young people from England, France, Norway and Mauritius were present.

We’ve also had the opportunity to bless the homeless a few times, by helping a local organisation to serve a hot meal and some of us went out and shared our hearts with people in need. We have the heart to help these people and we’re looking forward to putting our gifts and abilities to work in this area in 2017.

Finally, we’ve been very blessed by the visits of brothers and sisters from different parts of the World and we’re so grateful for the visits we made and the different events we attended.
